PlayStation giving away tons of PS4 games for next to free, if you're quick

There are some great deals to be had in the PlayStation New Year sale, with PS4 games heavily discounted.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, December is a costly month. Between gift-giving and festive merriment, it’s a month that can be a tad unkind to your wallet so it’s always nice to be a bit more intentional with your spends by the time January rolls around.

That doesn’t mean that January has to be absent of fun though. The good news is that the PlayStation New Year Deals sale continues. It’s on until 31 January and you can bag yourself some excellent savings, particularly on PlayStation 4 releases. You don’t need to sift through page after page though to find the best deals. We’ve rounded up the best titles you can grab for £5 or less. You’re welcome, so let’s dive in.

You can grab the fantastic Little Nightmares. There’s no better time to catch up on the series with Little Nightmares III on the way.

Let’s begin with the cheapest deals. For just £1.59 you can bag yourself the very fun WRC 7 FIA World Rally Championship, or Dead Island: Definitive Edition for £1.94. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is just £2.69, while Slender: The Arrival will set you back just £1.59.

Next up, we have Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 for £3.99 each, Mad Max for £3.99, Little Nightmares for £3.99, LEGO The Incredibles for £3.83, Wolfenstein: The New Order for £3.74, Yakuza 3 Remastered for £3.99, Yakuza 4 Remastered for £3.99, Yakuza 5 Remastered for £3.99, Call of Cthulhu for £3.99, and Hotline Miami for £3.99,

If you’re happy to stretch your budget a bit further, you can nab Mortal Kombat X for £4.79, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for £4.19, or Moving Out for £4.99. Of course, there are many other games on offer, but these are easily the highlights of the bargain tier.

That being said, if you do have slightly more funds to play with, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is a must-play for £7.99. It’s certain to keep you busy for around 60 hours - a sign of a good investment. Hopefully, there’s something here that appeals to you.
