The PlayStation 5 recently celebrated its fifth birthday, with the console around halfway through its lifespan.

First up, you need to select your device and get an instant estimate. Currys says: "Once you've got your estimate, send us your device. Alternatively, keep hold of your estimate, come in-store and we'll finalise and process your trade-in there and then."
Step two, choose to finalise your trade-in online or in-store. Currys explains: "Once you’ve got your estimate, send us your device for free or bring it in-store. We’ll confirm it’s suitable for trade-in and process your payment.
"If you send us your device, we’ll email you about your payment. If you come in-store, we’ll process your payment there and then and give you an e-gift card."
Last but definitely not least, choose your new tech. Critically, Currys says it will wipe your devices clean before 'giving them a new lease of life' so that your data is protected.

Trade PS4 in, Take Advantage of Currys Offer
As it stands, we went on the Currys Trade-in website and found deals for more than £60 towards your old PS4 tech.

It means you can land a PS5 from Currys for £364 against an RRP of just under £430.
That's for the Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, meaning the PS5 disc version will come in at £414 compared to its RRP of £479.
