Yet another 'wrapped' has been released online and this time, PlayStation users can see which games they had been loving throughout 2025.
On top of Spotify Wrapped, Youtube, Discord Wrapped - and even a Pornhub Wrapped - we are in an era where people just love stats. And being able to take a look back at the year gone to see where we have been sinking our time.
Now with a few weeks left of 2025, Sony is the latest to jump on the bandwagon by sharing its PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up giving both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users the chance to see the games they had been loving, as well as the PlayStation-related tech they had been favouring more than others.
However, it is this latter category that has seen some issues raised as some players have taken to r/playstation to express confusion over their results.
Advert

“According to PlayStation Wrapped my favourite controller is one I do not own and have never used,” user Orr-Man shared over on Reddit, alongside an image of their Wrap-Up which shows that they apparently favoured the Midnight Black DualSense Controller.
They added: “I have the Helldivers 2 SKU and use that 99% of the time (and the OG white one the other one percent) so I wonder how Wrapped pulls the wrong information on something like that. Does anyone have any insights?”
However, according to fellow user Cyrisaurus, there could be a simple explanation.
“Well the HD2 controller is midnight black with decals, makes sense,” they shared.
It could be true that the PlayStation Wrap-Up cannot read specific controller models and instead groups them based on similar characteristics. But it is still a shame not to see your exact controller be mentioned in the yearly review.
With some players reporting that their limited-edition controllers did show up specifically whilst others did not, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the information gathered.
Incorrect Stats are not the Only Issue
However, it was the PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up that also shed some light on another problem that PlayStation 5 users are facing: a lack of exclusives.
As one user shared over on Twitter, “My PlayStation Wrap-Up is so sad. Can you tell that my PS5 is basically a paperweight?”
With many users sharing their Wrap-Up stats but drawing attention to how little they picked up their console in 2025, it is clear that Sony has a glaring issue on giving us a reason to choose the PS5 over the PC or Steam Deck for example.
Hopefully this will change in 2026, especially as the PlayStation 6 is rumoured to be in the early stages of development.
Otherwise, it is safe to say that the PlayStation 5 era has not been the most lucrative.
Nevertheless, if you wish to check out your PlayStation Wrapped, it is now available worldwide for users.
