December is flying by and as we get closer to Christmas, Sony is joining in with the festivities by releasing a further nine games to get stuck into in between stuffing your face with turkey and yule log.

As always, at the end of November, Sony released the major titles which would be arriving to the Essential PlayStation Plus library for the month ahead.

December’s line-up included some exciting titles such as LEGO: Horizon Adventures, The Outlast Trials, and more.

However, now that we are almost two-weeks into December, it is time for the Extra and Premium titles to be announced and this month, you have nine new options to choose from.

So without further ado, let us take a look at the additional titles being added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium library this month.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty are our hard hitters this month, with Skate Story and Grandblue Fantasy: Relink holding up the rear.

However, there are more as Sony has also added Planet Coaster 2, Cat Quest III, Lego Horizon Adventures, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix and Paw Patrol World to the mix for PlayStation Extra and Premium members.

With a lot of children spending time off school during the Christmas holidays, there are more than enough games to keep them occupied.

For the adults, however, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty offer hours of fun, each offering exciting combat, gameplay, and story.

In his review for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, our very own Sam Cawley called it a “leap of faith that sticks the landing”.

“For all of you who fell out of love with the Assassin’s Creed series during the RPG games, I'd urge you to take a leap of faith with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, I don't think you'll be disappointed,” he wrote.

We were also able to review Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty which we called “a souls-like with serious bite”.

“If you love Nioh, Sekiro, or indeed Ninja Gaiden, you’ll eat this adventure up,” our review read.

Last But Not Least...

On top of this selection, Soulcalibur III will also be added to the PlayStation Plus Premium library and if you have not played the fighting game since it was first released back in 2005, now is the perfect opportunity to do so.

In total, there are 10 additions this month to the Extra and Premium tiers, although Skate Story has already been available for a few days, as a Day One launch, so nine of these are newly announced.
