There is nothing better than diving into a brand-new open-world title and this upcoming RPG expected to arrive in 2026 is no exception.

Developed by Netmarble, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an upcoming open-world anime RPG set in the universe of the anime with the same name.

Complete with a The Legend of Zelda-esque style, players will step into the shoes of Prince Tristan of Liones as he embarks on a journey to restore order to the world thrown into chaos following the collision of time and space.

Based on a best-selling manga which has managed to sell over 55 million copies worldwide, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is already set to boast an impressive player base and that is without taking a look into what the RPG promises us.

Set in the open-world of Britannia, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has faithfully recreated the anime by allowing players to immerse themselves into a world both familiar and completely new.

Filled to the brim with secrets, formidable monsters, and breathtaking landscapes, it will be up to you to assemble your team of heroes.

Each boasting their own unique abilities, your team will be with you every step of the way as you explore a story exclusive to The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

However, anime/manga fans will also recognise some familiar faces as they travel through Brittania but do not worry, some new characters will also be introduced but how they will tie into the story remains to be seen.

When you are not battling, you will have more than enough time to take in the sights and get on with some relaxing activities such as fishing, cooking meals, or exploring uncharted territory with friends and allies.

“Join Tristan on a brand-new adventure and forge your legend!”

If you are a fan of The Legend of Zelda or enjoy the anime-style of gacha games such as Genshin Impact, then you will want to keep The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin on your radar, even if you are not a self-confessed anime nerd.

With combat, exploration and both new and old characters alike, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin boasts everything you could hope for in an open-world RPG and luckily, we do not have long left to wait until we can get our hands on it.
