Dwayne Johnson says he and Vin Diesel have finally squashed their beef for good.
By now, the beef between WWE legend turned Hollywood megastar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Vin Diesel is a thing of legend. The feud between the duo resulted in them no longer working together on the Fast & Furious franchise.
Take a look at the trailer for Fast X below.
In a now-deleted Instagram post from 2016, The Rock announced that he was parting ways from the franchise and said, “My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.” It makes us wonder if the disdain between the duo was connected to the Fast & Furious ‘equal pain’ clause.

However, as reported by LADbible, The Rock has now revealed the feud is over and announced that a new Hobbs movie spin-off is on the way. In a lengthy video uploaded to his personal Twitter account, the actor said, “Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, you know, we’ve been like brothers for years, despite having our differences. When you lead with the idea, number one, of resolve but then also just think about the future, you think about plans that are much bigger than ourselves and those bigger plans are the bigger build-outs.”
The Rock also said in the post that in the “next Fast & Furious film you’ll see the legendary lawman in will be the HOBBS movie that will serve as a fresh, new chapter and set up for FASTX: Part II.” So, when will the new Hobbs movie be released? At this time no release date has been announced, but we now know that it will arrive before Fast 11. In an article from Radio Times, Vin Diesel said that Fast 11 will arrive by 2025. If true, that could mean that the new Hobbs movie will arrive in 2024. If we were to take a guess.
Following the recent release of Fast X, it was poorly received by critics on Rotten Tomatoes only scoring 59% at the time. That number has since dropped to 55%. Fast X is available to watch in cinemas now.
