Cyberpunk 2077 player unlocks the third-person mode, and the results are hilarious.
Having a terrible launch, Cyberpunk 2077 was considered to be so bad, at least on consoles, that Sony refused to sell it on the PlayStation Store, pulling it from sale. Thankfully, it made a triumphant return roughly six years later, and it has not looked back ever since.
“Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure RPG set in the megalopolis of Night City, where you play as a cyberpunk mercenary wrapped up in a do-or-die fight for survival,” reads the synopsis of the popular game from CD Projekt RED.
Since its return to the PlayStation Store, the developers at CDPR have worked tirelessly to not only deliver the game that was promised all those years ago, but Cyberpunk 2077 has now exceeded many expectations following a plethora of meaty content updates.

That being said, you still might want to avoid playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. From what I hear, it’s still not a great experience. PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are the best ways to experience this sci-fi RPG.
Out of all the content updates that have been released for Cyberpunk 2077, the one that hasn't arrived is a third-person mode. Cyberpunk 2077 is exclusively a first-person game, unless that’s altered by downloading a PC mod, of course.
However, one player has accessed the unintended third-person mode in Cyberpunk 2077, and the results are hilarious, if not a bit disturbing.
Is Cyberpunk 2077 First-Person Only?
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that Cyberpunk 2077 is not programmed to be played in a third-person perspective, but this upcoming clip is fun nonetheless.

In the aforementioned YouTube Shorts video uploaded by Broken Player, a clip of their V character is shared venturing about in Night City. All looks relatively normal, that is, until they choke out a police officer.
At this point, V evolves with “go, go Gadget” elongated arms and begins to terrorise Night City with an additional sprint reminiscent of 99.9% of anime characters. There’s also a serious case of joint and hip manipulation, which really should require urgent medical attention.
“First-Person: What cyberpsychosis feels like. Third-Person: What it actually looks like,” said TotallyNotSatan in the comments section of the video.
“Running with those mantis blades like a true cyberpsycho,” joked BuzzGaming8406.

“Imagine you think you're in a Cyberpunk 2077 game only to realise that the main character is an Eldritch Horror instead,” replied hiropisku1078.
Cyberpunk 2077, as well as its critically acclaimed expansion, Phantom Liberty, are out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.
