Cyberpunk 2077’s has one area of contention and it relates to the RPG’s first-person mode.

The CD Projekt RED title may be made entirely in first-person mode but with some fans hoping that its sequel will feature a third-person mode, others are not feeling so sure.

Regardless of what happens with the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, players will only ever get to experience the first game in first-person.

Or will they?

Thanks to modder Tylerrrrr23, Cyberpunk 2077 now has a first-person mode courtesy of their 'Every Animation Redone' free download.

First uploaded back in September 2024 and updated back in February, the 'Every Animation Redone' mod will add a third-person mode to the game by completely overhauling all of the original animations.

Judging from the change logs and various updates, this mod has been a labour of love - and with over 800 endorsements over on Nexus Mods, we can safely assume that it is worth adding to Cyberpunk 2077 if you have always been eager for a third-person mode.

If you are still not sure, the creator has uploaded a video to YouTube showcasing the changes they have made and it is clear that Cyberpunk 2077 could be played with this mod as it looks pretty seamless to me.

It seems as though fans agree.

“Dude you’re doing the lord's work,” one YouTube comment reads.

“Keep this up, man. This is a great step in the right direction!”

Another user agrees, adding, “I've been waiting for something like this since launch. Thank you for making this happen man!”

'Every Animation Redone' for Cyberpunk 2077 is now free to download so if you want to experience the hit RPG in a whole new light, this will be the perfect way to do so on PC.

If not, there are still thousands of free mods available for Cyberpunk 2077 and other RPGs on Nexus Mods.
