15 games you should definitely buy in the Xbox Ultimate Game sale

The Xbox Ultimate Game Sale is now live on your Xbox Series X/S, bringing with it hundreds of special offers on the latest and greatest AAAs.

There are plenty of discounts on all-time greats and gaming icons, so check out some of the best deals below. The sale ends on July 29.

FInal Fantasy VII Rebirth

Final Fantasy VII: Revelation launches next year and Xbox owners have some catching up to do thanks to PlayStation’s limited-time exclusivity deal.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now $29.99/£29.99 making it as good of a time as any to continue Cloud and co’s story.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

If any game will get you in the mood to watch Christopher Nolan’s latest film, The Odyssey, it has to be Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Quite the divisive entry this one, but we’ll let you decide while it’s priced at $8.99/£8/24. It can also be accessed via Xbox Game Pass Premium or Ultimate.

Grand Theft Auto 4

Grand Theft Auto VI is right around the corner, but before you load back into Los Santos for the newest GTA: Online heist consider a trip back to Liberty City first.

Battlefield 6

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition

Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece despite its less-than-ideal launch, and if you’re yet to return to Night City for another, now's the time, especially when another DLC expansion could be on the cards after all.

The Quarry

One of the best gaming announcements of the year came from PlayStation’s last State of Play, when Until Dawn 2 was officially announced.

While it’s not as good in our opinion, you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t at least try Supermassive Games’ follow-up The Quarry, It’s currently$5.99/£6.49. Don’t sleep on it.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy

Spyro the Dragon is finally returns in 2027, so if you’re new to the series or need a recap Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is the collection for you.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition

While Cyberpunk 2077 waits for another DLC expansion The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is confirmed to be getting one, 10 years after launch.

With that in mind it’s worth grabbing/playing if you somehow haven’t already, so it’s handy that the Complete Edition it’s currently $9.99/£6.99. Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate subscribers have free access too.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Mass Effect fans are going to be eating well in a few years with a live-action TV show on the way and Mass Effect 5.

Those that haven’t experienced this legendary trilogy yet can currently do so for $5.99/£5.99.

Metro Saga Bundle

Metro 2039 is on the way and those who aren't caught up can currently take advantage of one of the greatest deals in gaming.

BioShock The Collection

Ending this list on a rather somber note, there’s still no update on BioShock 4 as it struggles to claw its way out of development hell.
