Square Enix has finally revealed Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the final part of the remake trilogy which began in 2020 with Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The third part of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy was confirmed a few years ago, but information remained a little light.
However, after months of rumours, an official reveal for the game came at the end of Summer Game Fest, revealing the title to be Revelation.
The trailer shows off different characters from the remake trilogy, including Cloud, Barrett, and Tifa.

We also get some glimpses of Sephiroth, whose plan to harness the world's healing power to be reborn as a god comes to full effect in this epic conclusion.
Gameplay has been pretty light, but we did get a teaser for some of the content that'll be available in Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
For starters, the gang can fly around the world in the Highwind airship, and similar to the original game you can take it pretty much anywhere. In Revelation, you'll be able to jump out of the ship and parachute to the ground with little interruption.
Square Enix has also made improvements to the battle system, with Vincent Valentine voice actor Matt Mercer calling it "perfected" on stage at Summer Game Fest.
For fans of the series, it sounds like it'll make for a seamless experience when playing through the trilogy all in one go.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will release in Spring 2027, and will be coming to all platforms as opposed to being exclusive to just PlayStation 5 as the previous two games in the trilogy were.
It'll be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
