It’s official, Lies Of P is getting a DLC expansion, prepare for more soulslike perfection.

FromSoftware made an entirely new genre of video games with titles like Demon Souls and Dark Souls, inspiring developers to create their own tough-as-nails RPGs.

Take a look at Lies Of P below!

One such title is Lies Of P, arguably one of 2023's biggest games which takes heavy inspiration from Bloodborne, as well as the story of Pinnochio, boasting a steampunk aesthetic, gruelling environments and more brutal bosses than you can shake a stick at.

If you’ve played it, beaten it, and are hungry for more, I’ve got good news for you, as DLC is confirmed to be in development, thanks to a Korean job board for the developer Neowiz.

The news was shared by @Okami13_ on Twitter, who posted a screenshot of the job advert, which featured a line that read: “DLC planned for production.”

Details on what the DLC might be about or what it’ll include remains a mystery at the time of writing, though if it’s taking further inspiration from Dark Souls and Bloodborne, it’ll likely feature several new areas to explore, as well as plenty more challenges to overcome.

It’s safe to say fans were absolutely thrilled, with many believing Lies Of P perfectly matches the FromSoftware titles that inspired it in terms of quality.

“Massive W. What an amazing game. Really nailed the Soulslike vibes”

“nice! that post credits scene gave a clue of the direction they might go next, which is cool af.”

“Huge W, this game is amazing and I’d love to play some new content for it.”

It’s unknown when the DLC is expected to arrive, though it’s likely planned for sometime next year, especially if it hasn’t officially begun development yet.

Lies Of P is currently available for Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.
