Tales Of Skyrim is a free fan add-on that adds tons of new content

Skyrim is simply the gift that keeps on giving, and there’s plenty left in the box if you’re willing to rummage through the packing peanuts.

Skyrim is simply the gift that keeps on giving, and there’s plenty left in the box if you’re willing to rummage through the packing peanuts.

It’s a good thing too since The Elder Scrolls VI is years away from release, something fans can’t help but feel salty about since the first teaser for the game aired over five years ago, before development had even started.

Check out the teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI below

Not to worry though, Skyrim can keep us occupied in the meantime. That being said, replaying the game’s story can only take you so far, because as big as the game is there is a limit to new content and details to find in the base game especially compared to RPGs we have now like Elden Ring.

That’s where the wonderful world of mods comes in. The one we’re talking about today is an expansion mod called Tales of Skyrim- Berserkyr, which adds new enemies, quests, treasures and a brand-new character transformation.

We won’t bore you with all the details, we’ll skip ahead to the bread and butter of this mod. Simply put if you follow the questline it gives you you’ll unlock the incredible ability to transform into a bear, just don’t get any weird ideas, this isn’t Baldur’s Gate 3.

In the base game of Skyrim you can transform into a werewolf and a vampire, but I’d argue a werebear is just that little bit cooler. It’s also incredibly powerful, perfectly exemplified by the Berserkers, the new faction the mod adds who can also transform into bears and rip you apart if you bother them too much.

If you want to experience this mod for yourself you can download it for free from NexusMods. It’s not The Elder Scrolls VI but you get more quests and get to turn into a bear, what more do you need?
