Exciting news for Grand Theft Auto fans, the best location Rockstar ever created might return to GTA VI.

The announcement for Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to arrive any day now, and while Rockstar has held all details of the game very close to its chest, it’s obviously building up to something big.

That hasn’t stopped the leaks though, which have been spreading like wildfire for months. Amongst the latest information, it’s believed GTA VI will be a significant upgrade from GTA V in terms of physics and game mechanics, with more to do, and more to see than ever before.

Speaking of more to see, it’s widely believed GTA VI will not only allow players to explore the new and improved Vice City, but revisit some other prior game settings as well.

An exciting rumour is Liberty City, Rockstar Games’ version of New York City from GTA IV, which will return in GTA VI, and be fully remastered. Now like all rumours, you need to take it with a pinch of salt, but given how the game will only release for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, that extra platform power could greatly broaden the scope of the open world.

It’s also believed GTA VI will receive several post-launch updates, bringing new additions to the game in the form of expansions. If that’s the case, Rockstar could definitely include some of the old Grand Theft Auto stomping grounds, if they’re not already present in GTA VI.

Truth be told it’d be amazing to re-explore Liberty City with a modern engine and graphics, especially if it’s full of side activities and missions to complete near some of its most iconic locations.

Hopefully the bowling places are still standing too…
