The details surrounding what exactly Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to be like are a bit of a mystery, but fans have been hyper-analysing the two trailers we have had so far, as well as press releases and other tidbits to speculate with as much accuracy as possible.
Obviously the game has been confirmed as marking our long-awaited return to Vice City, but we can expect it to be much more detailed and broader in scope than it was when Tommy Vercetti was in his prime and causing chaos.
Over on Reddit, a diligent fan put forward the theory that there is likely to be an additional large scale town outside of the main city. Logic would dictate that is likely to be a version of an existing town in the real-world Florida Keys. They also added the additional, unfounded idea that we could get some rendition of Fort Jefferson, which serves as a staggering historical landmark in the Florida Keys.
The evidence the OP used relating to traffic is a bit of a misdirect though. Their claim that the heavy traffic is indicative of the size of the settlement doesn't really hold water, as the game will essentially generate cars as set dressing when the player is in the area, to create a realistic highway experience.

What we do know is that the map in GTA 6 will be considerably larger than the already impressive GTA 5 map, at least doubly so. Some estimates think it could go as high as three or four times larger, though that is just speculation at this point.
GTA 5 has a total map size of 75.84 sq km, so a GTA 6 map of twice the size would make it comparable to Assassin's Creed: Odyssey or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
With the game set to arrive on May 26 2026, we hopefully won't have too long to wait before we can get exploring.
