Despite the fact that it’s still some months until GTA VI finally ends up in our hands, conversation is still ongoing and speculation is rife.
It’s no surprise given just how monumental the Rockstar Games release is due to be, crossing over beyond video games and becoming a blockbuster piece of entertainment earning billions of dollars.
A recent comment appeared in a conversation with IGN, that has GTA fans wondering if they’ve been underestimating the size of the game’s map.
With GTA VI being considered by some as the first ‘AAAAA’ game, Redditors are thinking that Vice City will be bigger than we thought, and perhaps we’ll see even more of the surrounding American state.

One fan took to the message board to say, “Are we underestimating the size of the map? Maybe the rumours of panhandle and 70% interiors is true?”
In reply, one fan tried to play down the excitement and hope, saying, “I mean, they're clearly referring to the scope and scale of the hype surrounding the game, rather than the map or the game itself.”
“70% of interiors is absurd. People use your brain for once,” remarks another user, who believes so many explorable buildings to be absurd.
“Ah yes — we’re at the 'have completely unrealistic expectations' part of the hype cycle,” quipped another.

Realistically, we know nothing until Rockstar Games finally opens up about the gameplay aspects of the game.
It could very well end up being a massive map riddled with places to visit and things to do, but the expectation is all in our heads at the moment.
This user puts it simply, commenting, “All we know for a fact is it’s gonna be a big game in a way we haven’t seen before.”
And the map is going to be plenty big, even by low expectations, so we can likely rest easy knowing we’re going to get lost in Vice City for months.
