GTA 6 Trailer 3 Release Window Potentially Spotted Online

Let it be so

The furore around the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is at an absolute fever pitch ahead of its eventual release in November of this year, and that's only likely to get worse as we get closer to the big date.

As was the case last year, fans are looking for any small piece of information, rumour or leaks, to try and get a better understanding of what they're going to be playing.

One of the biggest potential arrivals ahead of the release of the full game would be a third trailer, with the first two really opening our eyes to the scale of the game that Rockstar has planned for us.

Now, fans think they've worked out exactly when they might be getting another video from the developer and if they're correct, it's much sooner than you might expect.

Take-Two Earnings Call Could See Rockstar Drop Third Trailer

As first reported by comicbook.com, the next earnings call for Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive is set to go ahead on 3 February, and many fans have earmarked that as a potential big day for GTA VI news.

The earnings call has always been a bit of a gold mine in terms of understanding exactly how far the project is along, with the most recent delay announced at a similar event in 2025. There, CEO Strauss Zelnick detailed development much more closely than we'd seen previously.

Many fans believe that if the developer was to drop a trailer for the game ahead of that earnings call, it would have a significant effect on the Take-Two stock price and make Zelnick's job a lot easier when it comes to talking to investors.

They aren't wrong about that, but a much more likely scenario would see us get some additional information or maybe even some screenshots, rather than a full video featuring gameplay or cinematics.

For those who are concerned about the lack of gameplay that we've seen so far, it's worth remembering that we didn't get to see any of Red Dead Redemption 2's gameplay until the fourth trailer for that game, which dropped just months before the full release in 2018.

Until Rockstar decides to bless us with some additional video footage of the game, we're just going to have to sit tight and hope for the best, but given the ambition and expectation surrounding the release, the pressure is only going to ramp up from here.
