GTA 6 Trailer 3 Release Window Surfaces, Pre-Order Countdown Begins

The third trailer for GTA VI could be arriving soon, as fans continue to count down to when they can place their pre-orders.

It’s fair to say that when it comes to highly anticipated games of 2026, it doesn't get much bigger than the next entry in Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series. GTA V is already one of the most successful video games of all time, and we expect GTA VI to be no exception.

However, despite Rockstar Games officially revealing GTA VI in December 2023, eager gamers are still not able to pre-order the game. Well, at least digitally on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace. We can pre-order GTA VI physically at retail, mind.

At this time, we’ve been treated to two GTA VI trailers, but it’s been a minute since the last and fans are hoping that trailer three is around the next corner and judging by what a journalist and video game industry insider, Tom Henderson, says, that might actually be the case very soon.

Could GTA VI Trailer Three Arrive Soon?

As brought to our attention by Gameranx, in the latest episode of the weekly Insider Gaming on YouTube, Henderson has doubled down that the GTA VI trailer three will release sometime during early August.

“I’m still sticking to my guns from what we said a few weeks ago, which is that I don’t think they’re going to release the trailer, the next trailer, until actual summer,” he said.

Tom Henderson also added that the third GTA VI trailer could arrive after the next Take-Two Interactive earnings call, which is often a common occurrence. Rockstar Games speaks to investors at Take-Two Interactive, and within a day or so, some news drops.

What’s more, when the third trailer for GTA VI finally does arrive, it should also mean that gamers will be able to pre-order it digitally on PlayStation and Xbox.

What About GTA Online?

Hopefully, when the third trailer does finally drop, a trailer for the next iteration of GTA Online might not be that far behind. When that trailer does drop, we’ll be sure to let you know right away.

Assuming that Grand Theft Auto VI suffers no further delay, it will be released on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The inevitable PC port hasn't been announced yet, but usually, Rockstar Games titles arrive roughly a year after consoles.
