GTA 6 Pre-Order Window Confirmed As New Countdown Begins

Finally, the GTA VI pre-order window has seemingly been confirmed, and now we can begin our inner countdown, awaiting its big arrival.

We know we’re all doing it, just like us, you’re checking social media daily to see if news has dropped regarding the third trailer for GTA VI and when its pre-orders have officially gone live.

Heck, I bet you even have Rockstar Games Twitter notifications turned on, just in case. Hopefully, that next notification ping that alerts your mobile phone isn't yet another GTA Online or Red Dead Online update.

Has Take-Two Just Dropped the GTA VI Pre-Order Window?

As brought to our attention by GTA BOOM, during the latest earnings call with Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, when T2 CEO, Strauss Zelnick, was asked about when the GTA VI pre-orders will go live, he bluntly replied “absolutely no idea”. However, that may not be the closed book it appears to be.

Previously, we learned that Rockstar Games intends to launch its big marketing push for its next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series this summer. In the UK at least, summer is between 1 June and 31 August.

So, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the big GTA VI marketing push will begin next week. What’s more, this will of course be the perfect time to officially launch pre–orders for the game ahead of its release in November, as well as dropping trailer three.

That being said, I’d be very surprised if Rockstar Games would begin the GTA VI marketing campaign anything close to the end of August. With that in mind, hopefully, there’s a good chance that if the market campaign doesn't kick off next month, it might do so during early July.

Of course, this is all theoretical at this point, but we all know that the GTA VI marketing campaign, pre-orders and the third trailer need to all drop sooner rather than later. When all of that happens, we’ll be sure to let you know right away.

GTA VI Takes Us Back to Vice City!

“Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them,” reads the synopsis of the highly anticipated GTA VI.

“But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

At the time of writing, Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The PC port hasn't been officially announced yet. Typically, Rockstar Games tends to launch a PC port roughly a year after consoles, so we’re positive that the long-awaited announcement will be made at some point soon.
