GTA 6 trailer 2 released by Rockstar, and it's a thing of beauty

With no warning whatsoever, Rockstar Games has surprised fans once again by dropping the second official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI.

Released just moments ago on the official Rockstar Games Youtube channel, the trailer is our first official look at Grand Theft Auto VI since the first trailer was released back in December 2024.

“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them,” the official trailer description reads.

“But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

The trailer kicks off with another look at one of our brand-new protagonists, Jason as he takes on some menial labour around Vice CIty.

We then see him cruise through the streets, rob a small store and workout on the beach. All seems very Grand Theft Auto-esque so far.

It isn’t long before we meet our second protagonist, Lucia as Jason heads to the penitentiary to pick her up upon her release. We can only imagine that the true fun is about to begin now that the pair are reunited.

The trailer then features a montage showing all of the escapades our new duo get up to including heists, bar-hopping, underground fighting, hijacking planes and trying to evade the police force that are seemingly after them in force.

Our second official look at Grand Theft Auto VI gives us a hell of a lot more to examine during our year-long wait for the game to be released on 26 May, 2026.

The trailer features everything we know and love about Grand Theft Auto and we can only expect that this recent delay is going to blow all of its previous entries out of the water.
