According to a (since deleted) leak, Grand Theft Auto VI’s “Premium” edition is going to set you back quite a tidy sum… and you’re probably going to want to buy it if you’re a GTA Online fan.
Yesterday, the GTA VI community lost its collective mind following a new leak that detailed the game's price.
This originally came via @millieamand on Twitter, a reliable leaker who has been correct about a bunch of Sony-related stuff in the past. Assumedly, that’s how they came into possession of this information, as it also detailed an exclusive promotional deal between Rockstar Games and Sony.
However, Millie A has since deleted their leak, and also posted a GIF of Chris Rock saying “Uh oh” not long after.

Thankfully, @GTAVI_Countdown screenshotted it beforehand. The leak states that the "Deluxe" edition of GTA VI will retail at £89.99, and the "Premium" edition of the game will retail at £109.99.
Interestingly, Millie A specifically stated that the Deluxe edition will grant players “early” access to GTA Online, whereas the Premium edition will allow users to play GTA Online “first”.
I think the distinction here is a lot more relevant than it might initially appear, as it sounds like GTA VI’s online components will actually be released in three different phases.
It’s been theorised, considering how tight-lipped Rockstar Games are being, that GTA VI won’t launch with an online component, and that access to GTA Online will be added at a later date, or possibly even released as a separate game entirely.

This leak does sort of line up with that, as it doesn’t state that GTA Online will be available at launch, but rather those who purchase the Premium edition will simply get it before everyone else.
It’ll be interesting to see how true a lot of this is when Rockstar Games finally announces pre-order details… whenever that’ll end up being.
