GTA VI fans are not taking the news of a second delay well. No, seriously, they’re being super bloody weird about it.
In case you didn’t hear, one leaker, who has proven to be extremely accurate in the past, has revealed that “internal talks” at Rockstar Games imply that Grand Theft Auto VI may slip to September 2026.
This comes via @millieamand on Twitter, who also revealed details about GTA VI’s launch price and its deluxe/premium editions.
Over on @GTAVI_Countdown’s post detailing the leaks, fans who were excited to get hold of the game in May 2026 are genuinely losing it.

“These delays are getting ridiculous”, commented user @Kinostetics.
“Imagine everyone collectively agreed to stop playing GTA5 online until GTA6 gets released… that s**t would come out the next day.”
“If this game isn't released in May, people may do dangerous things”, replied user @npantano_.
“This is a dangerous game they are playing psychologically. You can't make people wait 13 years for a product and continue to tease and move the goal post.”

Alright, so, firstly, y’all gotta calm the hell down.
Saying “people may do dangerous things” about a video game is genuinely unhinged behaviour. I don’t know what the hell they’re implying they or other people are going to do, but that’s some psycho nonsense that I hope the rest of you will not engage with.
Secondly, yes, the leaker in question here has been correct about a lot of stuff in the past, but they’ve also been wrong about some stuff.
Do not start losing your heads about this until we get confirmation from Rockstar Games, because, at the moment, you’re only getting mad about something that may not even come to pass.

But, if the game is delayed, here’s a crazy suggestion: do something else with your life while you wait.
Sometimes it feels like a lot of you have literally no other purpose in life than playing this game. That’s unhealthy. It’s strange. But mostly, it’s just pathetic.
Hang out with your friends. Hell, make some friends. Get a hobby. Exercise. Do literally anything except counting down the days until GTA VI releases.
