Iron Man and Spider Man don’t always see eye-to-eye in the comics but in the MCU they were a true dynamic duo, and they needed to reunite.
We don’t know what’s going to happen in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars but Spider-Man will undoubtedly appear at some point.
Due to this fans are anticipating a reunion or story beat regarding Doctor Doom presumably having the same face as Peter’s previous mentor, Tony Stark.
Avengers: Doomsday comes out next year so we’ll find out then, but before we get there we’ve sort of got that reunion early.

MCU stars Robert Downey Jr and Tom Holland have partnered up for a collaboration between Downey Jr.'s Happy Coffee brand and Holland's alcohol-free BERO drink.
The pair starred in an advert promoting the collaboration and sharing an adorable embrace at the end.
Marvel fans are hoping they’ll share the screen in the MCU again too, after all we wouldn’t have the Spider-Man we know and love if Tony Stark hadn’t recruited him in Captain America: Civil War.
Peter was operating as Spider-Man but with a home-made suit that just wasn’t doing him any favours. While the suit Tony prepared for him was arguably a little too advanced, Peter quickly made it his own before getting yet another upgrade in Avengers: Infinity War with the Iron-Spider suit.

Following this he then changed his suit two more times, three if you count him integrating the remnants of Iron Spider into his normal suit, with his final suit being a true home-made outfit inspired by his team-up with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.
While he eventually gained his independence that was widely considered the biggest flaw with the MCU’s Spider-Man, he relied far too heavily on his teacher-student relationship with Iron Man, and other heroes like Doctor Strange.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is said to include several cameos of other MCU characters as well as see Peter team-up with The Punisher and even fight the Hulk, but it doesn’t seem like he’ll be getting a new role model anytime soon.
Still though, his inclusion in the next two Avengers films seems inevitable so we’re bound to get a scene where Peter realises his former mentor is back from the dead and threatening the multiverse this time.
