We all love freebies, right? Of course, we do. Well, unless it's a poke in the eye with a stick dipped in Vicks VapoRub.

As of late, Steam has been on a roll giving away free games to PC gamers. Earlier this week, Steam was giving away six free games, no strings attached. Then a day later, Steam was giving away 12 more games! If that wasn't enough Steam freebie goodness for you, one of the best-rated games on the platform was also being given away at no cost.

It’s fair to say that it's been a good week for gamers on PC who prefer not to spend a penny to play some of the best video games available. Yet, Steam hasn't stopped there, because you can now claim another free game that is said to be ‘impossible to put down’.

Published by MadSushi Games, Alchemy Garden is an indie life-simulator, perhaps a little akin to the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley with an added dose of potion concoction and wizardry.

In Alchemy Garden, not only will you craft your own potions, but you’ll also be running your very own alchemy shop. “Craft magic potions and sell them in your own alchemy shop! Explore the world and harvest plants to discover new recipes!” reads the game's official description. “Take care of your own garden of alchemy and decorate the shop as you like in this life sim game!”

So how do you claim this charming indie game for free, I hear you ask? Firstly, do not pick it up directly from the Steam Store, otherwise, you’ll be spending £10.99. As tweeted by Steam Free Games, product keys are being given away by Fanatical.com.

You will however need a valid Steam account and be subscribed to the Fanatical newsletter to claim the free game. But that’s a small inconvenience to be fair. Once you’ve met those criteria, the free Steam code for Alchemy Garden will be sent your way. Happy days!
