PlayStation Plus subscribers braced for disappointing February free game lineup

It looks like PlayStation Plus subscribers will be in for a disappointing February 2024

The PlayStation Plus subscription service offers good value for money regardless of the tier you subscribe to. Though admittedly, some months are better than others. I suppose it all depends on personal preference.

As much as we’d love some of our favourite video games to remain on Sony’s subscription service, many are tied to timed deals, whether that deal is a few months or a year. Even some first party PlayStation titles are not guaranteed to remain on the service forever.

Check out the Resident Evil 7: Biohazard trailer below!

As we get closer to the new year, PS Plus subscribers will be wondering what the service will bring in the months ahead, but what about those games that will be departing? Well, it seems that PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to brace themselves for quite the exodus in February 2024.

Redditor kayrakaanonline has predicted what games will be leaving PlayStation Plus in 2024. Going on the premise that games included in the service are tied to six, 12 and 18-month deals, this Reddit user has predicted that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Devil May Cry 5, Outriders, The Forgotten City, and the 2020 Destroy All Humans remake will all depart.

Kayrakaanonline does mention that RE7 was previously included in the now-defunct PS Plus Collection. So if you added RE7 to your library before Sony had removed the PS Plus Collection, it will remain accessible in your library with an active subscription.

We should remind ourselves that none of the above information is set in stone as it's based upon predictions. Whether any of the predictions prove to be true, we’ll just have to wait a couple of months to find out. These kinds of predictions have proved logical in the past though. Hopefully, 2024 will be a great year for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
