The Battlefield 6 open beta may be over, but that doesn’t mean loyal players can’t do other things in the meantime as they wait until launch.
Electronic Arts will be gearing up to release Battlefield 6 in October, and that means we still have just under two months of patience left until we can play the full game.
If you’re an avid fan of the Battlefield series, however, EA is now giving you the chance to get 30 exclusive freebies for the sixth installment ahead of launch.
To start unlocking these free rewards, you’ll need to play Battlefield 2042 and start levelling up its new free battle pass.

The pass features 60 tiers, with 50 rewards inspired by past games in the series like Battlefield 1, Battlefield V, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4.

Six of these tiers also feature free rewards for Battlefield 6, consisting of skins for weapons, vehicles, and operators. However, you only have until 7th October to unlock these rewards before the pass ends.
In order to get these rewards, all you need to do is level up the pass through the six tiers that feature Battlefield 6 items. These tiers are 8, 19, 30, 40, 49, and 60. So, if you want absolutely everything, you’ll need to complete the pass.
The battle pass arrives as part of Battlefield 2042’s update 9.2.0, which is now available to download on all platforms.
The patch adds a new map, Iwo Jima, which is based on the classic map from Battlefield 1942, that also appeared in Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield V.

Two new weapons have been added; the KFS2000 bullpup rifle and Lynx sniper rifle. The latter weapon is already acquired for free for anyone who participated in the Battlefield 6 open beta.
Meanwhile, the A10 Warthog and SU-25TM Frogfoot are two new vehicles also added to Battlefield 2042 as of the latest patch. These vehicles can be found in All-Out Warfare.
