Red Dead Redemption 2 cut dialogue restored and added to game

A new Red Dead Redemption 2 mod has found cut dialogue and restored it back into the game.

I think our only complaint about Red Dead Redemption 2 is that there simply isn’t enough of it. Fans have spent years desperate for more content and although Rockstar is far too busy to add it, modders are dedicated to getting the job done. That is why there is now one mod that restores cut dialogue to the title for Arthur Morgan and John Marston.

Cut Dialogue Enhanced was a mod created by Milferino on Nexus Mods that aims to “restore unused voice lines, combat taunts, and vocalizations that were cut” from Red Dead Redemption 2. After the dialogue in question was cut by Rockstar, the mod aims to restore it to the stage that Arthur or John will rarely repeat the same line in a short period.

The mod will add new dialogue to in-game situations such as shouting at unseen enemies, purchasing goods from the store, being angry whilst in cover, winning a fight, being under fire or in combat, looting enemies and whipping a draft horse. Additionally, each scenario will feature around 10 different lines of dialogue.

This is just another mod that aims to add even more life to an already masterpiece of a game. Red Dead Redemption 2 also recently welcomed a mod that added Christmas decorations to Valentine or even added brand-new open-world events to the map.

With the Rockstar title now celebrating its fifth anniversary, talk has no doubt turned to a potential sequel. However, with the studio focusing on Grand Theft Auto VI, including an upcoming first trailer arriving in just a few weeks time, it may be a while before we head back to our favourite cowboys.

In related news, GTA VI is rumoured to feature a map that will be at least twice the size of the one featured in Grand Theft Auto V. Our first trip back to Vice City in over twenty years will see us with even more to discover if reports are to be believed.
