
PlayStation Plus has just dropped 12 new games for you to download right now, and it sounds like your subscription might just be paying for itself at this point.
Every month, PlayStation Plus users subscribed to the Extra and Premium tiers get a batch of new games to enjoy, ranging from Day 1 releases to timeless classics.
If you have a PlayStation console and don’t mind paying the monthly subscription fee, it can open up your eyes to all sorts of different games.
This week saw another drop of some excellent new games, which you can download and play at no extra charge depending on which tier of PS Plus you’re subscribed to.

PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers can now download and play the following:
- Mortal Kombat 1 (PS5)
- Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (PS5)
- Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4)
- Sword of the Sea (PS5)
- Earth Defense Force 6 (PS5, PS4)
- Unicorn Overlord (PS5, PS4)
- Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key (PS5, PS4)
- Indika (PS5)
- Harold Halibut (PS5)
- Coral Island (PS5)
Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus Premium users can also enjoy two classic Resident Evil games from the PS1:

- Resident Evil 2 (PS5, PS4)
- Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS5, PS4)
Although it's never announced how long these games stay on the service for, it's generally on there for a minimum of around a year. So, you have plenty of time to check them out, but they won't be on there forever.
Of course, while these new additions are exciting, it also comes with the news that some games leaving the service at the end of the month.

In September, seven games will be removed from PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, so be sure to check them out before they’re gone.
The big ones from this list include UFC 5 and The Plucky Squire, two games that have seen lots of positive buzz surrounding them since release. You still have a few weeks to play them, at least.
