We are nearing the Christmas season, a time when many games get a bit of an overhaul and start featuring Christmas trees all decked out, presents and twinkling lights.

With Red Dead Redemption 2, it's down to the modders to bring a little Christmas cheer to the wild west, and this pack, called 'Valentine Christmas' does just that.

This mod is fresh out of the oven for Christmas 2023 and it's a pretty simple one, too. The description for the mod simply says "adds holiday decorations to valentine i hope you enjoy" and it does exactly that. Once the mod is installed, you will find Christmas decorations throughout the town of Valentine. You'll also find a lovely Santa outfit for Arthur which brings a bit of cheer and colour to the scene.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out for some time now and many players have reached a point where they've seen all the secrets and done enough exploring via RDR2 Online. This is the time to start browsing for mods - or you can start all over again.

Even though there is an online component to Red Dead Redemption 2, it doesn't really feel like a live-service game, so Rockstar Games doesn't tend to update the game around holidays. Thankfully there seems to be a mod for everything.

Depending on what you want from mods, there are plenty to choose from; if you want map expansions, then you're in luck; want to add a layer of fear in your game? There's a mod for that too. If it tickles your fancy, you could add in whole new areas to explore, created by modders who love the game and want to add new experiences to this well-loved game.
