The ‘Florida Joker’ who made a guest appearance in the GTA VI trailer isn’t pleased with his parody portrayal.

In the brief 90 seconds we saw of GTA VI via the new trailer, a few things stood out to us. The big one is the stunning graphics which completely blew fans away with its realism. Those gorgeous graphics are confirmed to not be pre-rendered either, as an ex-Rockstar Games dev recently stated the full game will look just as good as it did in the trailer.

Aside from that though, what really caught the attention of fans was the open world. While Vice City is returning and looking better than ever, players will have an entire state to explore, which is seemingly an exaggerated version of Florida.

The trailer featured several familiar faces and allusions to real-life Florida events and people, with residents confirming the game’s depiction of their home is scarily accurate to the real thing.

One part of the trailer showed a convict with tattoos across his face, which many quickly recognised as a parody of Lawrence Sullivan, also known as ‘Florida Joker.’ Sullivan gained internet fame when a mugshot from one of his arrests found its way online, with many drawing comparisons to the iconic Batman villain, The Joker.

It’s a cheeky and humorous reference from Rockstar Games, but Sullivan doesn’t seem to find it funny, as they’ve since posted a TikTok reaction video saying “GTA, we gotta talk.”

‘Florida Joker’ isn’t the only caricature being added to the game either, as the ‘hammer lady’ from another viral video, and even the influencer Adin Ross will also make appearances in the game.

GTA VI is set for release in 2025, and will launch for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
