GTA 6 gameplay blows fans away, is the best-looking game we've ever seen

Grand Theft Auto 6's first trailer has blown fans away, with many calling it the best-looking game they've ever seen.

Talk about the unexpected. As I’m sure you’re aware, the very first trailer for GTA VI is available to watch now. If you’re in the UK and you’ve just woken up and have no idea what’s going on, yes. The trailer did drop early.

It was due to land today, 5 December, at 2pm GMT / 9am EST. Unfortunately, one leaker had other plans, posting a grainy version to social media early. Rockstar soon took to X, formerly Twitter, to issue their response: “Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube.” I’m sure by now you’ve feasted your eyes on the GTA VI trailer. After all, it’s already breaking major social media records. The trailer did confirm many details we suspected: the game’s title, its Vice City setting, and the inclusion of Jason and Lucia as our dual protagonists. We still don’t know who is voicing those characters though.

ICYMI: Take a look at the brand new GTA VI trailer below.

We may have only seen 91 seconds of GTA VI but oh my, Rockstar is cooking. We expected that the game would exceed our expectations graphically - after all, just take a look at how revolutionary Red Dead Redemption 2 was five years ago. That being said, I’m still blown away. I’m not alone in thinking that, with most fans actually mistaking the trailer for CGI. You’re wrong, my friends. This is in-engine footage.

Needless to say, there is endless praise already. “Graphically, this is next level,” wrote X user DomTheBombYT. “The city feels absolutely alive and kicking. Top notch. Can’t wait,” commented Reddit user pubgaxt while NoClerk5520 added, “Just compare the trailer for GTA V to this one. The detail is crazy.”

Even the official Among Us account joined in: “Sorry about the leaks but thank you for all of the hard work on this, very excited.” Us too. Unfortunately, GTA VI isn’t due to land until 2025 so we’re going to have to maintain this hype for a fair while longer.
