A mod for GTA: San Andreas will let you play as Lucia, months and months before GTA VI comes out.
I think we’re all still collectively groaning at the idea of GTA VI being at least another year away, as while the game is still confirmed for release sometime in 2025, when exactly is still unknown.

While many fans hang on every word muttered by Rockstar Games for hints and clues about the title, others have taken matters into their own hands and attempted to create concepts of what the game might be like.
This brings us to a mod created by SERGIO_VAN_DYK, which adds the GTA VI protagonist Lucia to GTA: San Andreas.
Lucia is one of two protagonists in the next Grand Theft Auto game, the other being Jason, and it’s believed the story will follow the two lovers attempting to find a peaceful life for themselves, with some even believing one or both of them will end up perishing along the way.
While the mod doesn’t capture Lucia’s entire likeness, not a dig at the creator, GTA: San Andreas is just a very old game, the similarities aren’t too far off.
It is, of course, purely cosmetic too, and it’s still CJ underneath which makes the dialogue a little weird to listen to, but nevertheless it does exactly what it says on the tin, puts Lucia in GTA: San Andreas.
Similar mods are available to port the character into GTA V if you do a bit of digging.
Of course it won’t do much for fans still waiting for news on the next game, as many are still trying to predict when we might see a second trailer.
Perhaps Summer will yield another announcement, or perhaps even some gameplay depending on how far along development is.
