The Grand Theft Auto franchise is no stranger to featuring the occasional celebrity cameo, especially when it comes to its incredible soundtrack, and it seems as though things will be no different when it comes to GTA VI.

From Dr. Dre to Cara Delevingne to Kenny Loggins and Iggy Pop, Rockstar loves a celebrity cameo and although it is keeping Grand Theft Auto VI’s cast list close to its chest, it seems as though one famous rapper is ready to go public.

Spotted in his latest music video for song 2000 EXCURSION, rapper Travis Scott may have just hinted at his cameo in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Released just two days ago, eagle-eyed fans noticed a familiar looking license plate on a red Ferrari in the music video.

The license plate can be seen with the letters ‘GTA VI6’ so it is safe to say that this is hinting at one very popular game and could also mean that Scott himself will be starring in it in some capacity.

With Rockstar known for featuring a banging soundtrack in the in-game radio, we can assume that Scott’s music could feature and this would be the perfect way to announce it.

However, some fans think this is a hoax as Rockstar’s NDAs would not allow it to be announced this early.

Regardless, discussions surrounding the Easter egg recently kicked off over on r/GTA and fans were eager to share their thoughts.

“I have a really bad feeling GTA 6 might have the weakest radio of all the GTAs,” one user commented.

“There is probably going to be a ton of mid hip hop songs from the new generation instead of having actually good rappers like Nas or DMX on the soundtrack.”

“Have people here never played GTA 5?” Another user asked, as Scott has previously had music featured on its radio.

“I’m interested in so many people saying they have never heard his music when he is heavily featured on the radio. Do people just not listen to the radio?”

With some users unhappy with the inclusion of Scott whilst others are just excited to hear the brand-new soundtrack, it remains to be seen if this license plate has any correlation with his appearance.
