GTA 6 second trailer 'tease' is sending fans into a frenzy

I’ve been a GTA fan for years now, but I’ve never known the hype to be as potent as it is currently. It was already palpable before the official trailer dropped; but once that arrived, all hell broke loose.

Since that trailer, though, we’ve not really had much in the way of solid leads from Rockstar Games about what GTA VI will include – we’ve pieced together perceived clues, but without the publisher’s input we’re still in the dark.

Until that second trailer drops, all we can do is keep watching the first GTA VI trailer

Fans now believe they’ve discovered a teaser hiding in plain sight, and it’s sent them into a bit of a frenzy. This isn’t quite the conspiracy theory as the ones currently surrounding Kate Middleton, but, as we know, GTA fans can read more into things than they should.

Rockstar has added the first trailer to its video section, which fans believe is teasing that the second trailer will drop very soon. As well as the video being there, the Reddit OP points out that “There are also arrows on the right”, seemingly suggesting the need to scroll through multiple vids.

Given how our love for GTA, it’s unsurprising that gamers are reading a lot into this. However, some fans, arguably very wisely, are remaining cautious. Some disbelievers have gone as far as saying that “If the second trailer releases before July, the mods can ban me from the sub.” That’s quite the statement to make, evidently proving their conviction.

Others took a more desperate approach and simply begged for Rockstar to give them anything – even just some screenshots of the game to tide them over.

Regardless of when the second trailer will arrive, one thing is for certain: we’re not mentally prepared for the serious levels of excitement it will bring. As one Redditor aptly said, “TRAILER 2. LET'S GO !!!”
