Just when you thought you’d seen everything there was from September 2022’s almighty GTA VI leak, think again. Footage of what appears to be a new online mode is now making the rounds on Reddit after it was seemingly overlooked all those months ago.

GTA VI leak day was something you just had to be there for. The hype, the disbelief, the frenzy. In case you missed it, a whole load of early gameplay footage made its way online, which seemingly confirmed the protagonists and setting of the game. Rockstar Games confirmed the legitimacy of the footage - it announced that it’d been obtained illegally by a third party in a network intrusion. Even though clips were swiftly removed from the internet, they’d already spread far and wide, and many fans are still picking through the data to see what secrets they can find.

It’s thought that GTA VI will take place in Vice City - take a look at what it might look like when it’s finished below.

As Dexerto reports, over on the r/GTA6 subreddit, one user has now highlighted a gameplay clip that was allegedly included in the September 2022 leak, but as others in the thread have pointed out, it seems barely anyone has seen it before. The short video shows the player character carrying a body while running to (seemingly) another player. Yes, that’s literally it. However, text on-screen in the clip refers to one of the characters as “MP_Female”, which as one fan suggested, likely stands for ‘multiplayer’.

Unfortunately, not everyone is thrilled about what they’re seeing: “I found the carrying mechanic very annoying in RDR2. Even if you set yourself free, you'd be killed anyway. It's essentially a griefing mechanic and nothing else,” tropelio wrote. “Oh good they're already abandoning single player,” added SensitivityTraining_.

Some are more optimistic, though: “Being able to carry bodies is what we needed for the stealth missions in V/Online. Especially with buffed Cayo guards. Just kill, throw into the water in the compound,” wrote RockNDrums. “It was a fun mechanic in Red Dead Online. No doubt it will be put to good use in VI,” agreed Left_Side_Driver.

Assuming that this clip really is from the already-confirmed leak, keep in mind that it was all early development footage, so things could change significantly between now and release.
