The hype for GTA VI simply won’t die down, and it’s understandable, as millions of players eagerly await the biggest blockbuster video game of all-time.
However, not all the hype for GTA VI is simply for the campaign and story, though so many of us can’t wait to jump into Lucia and Jason’s turbulent love life set against a backdrop of crime sprees.
Millions of us are excited to see what comes next for GTA Online, which continues to be a major draw, pulling players into an MMO-style playground of chaos.

Now, details have spilled out in a leak, pointing to how huge the next iteration of GTA Online may be.
On Twitter, the leak details 64-player lobbies, up from the previous 32, but Rockstar Games is apparently targeting 96-player gatherings.
The developer is aiming to deliver “New 'Fluid Access' technology for a seamless experience, the ability to do activities in free mode with players from different sessions without loading times, and eliminate tedious menu navigation”.
Of course, this is just a rumour at this time, but it could very well be credible, and the tease has fans thrilled by the potential.

“Wow,” was the simple comment from one Twitter user.
“Things you love to see!” replied another.
The leak also detailed that work on the GTA VI online mode is further along than many of us thought, and while it likely won’t launch for some time, it’s good to know we won’t be waiting for years to dive into Vice City.
“This could change the way open-world multiplayer works,” said another fan.

The improvements can be seen as a way to fully escape into this virtual world, as one player notes, saying, “Huge lobbies and no loading time between lobbies is a huge improvement for immersion.”
We’ve probably got quite a while to wait until we get official news, but it’s shaping up nicely, if this rumour is true.
