Bethesda isn’t exactly being very forthcoming with a new Fallout game, but you can always rely on Modiphius to deliver on the tabletop front.
TTRPG Fallout: Wasteland Warfare is officially set to drop new content in 2026.
The beloved game experience will soon launch a revised second edition as well as several new starter sets - perfect for those looking to extend their time in the wasteland beyond the core video game offerings.
Fallout: Wasteland Warfare Is a Great Alternative To Bethesda’s Mainline Games
Fallout: Wasteland Warfare can be enjoyed solo, as a co-op experience, or with PvP gameplay, as players use miniatures to battle it out.
You’ll build a crew, selecting from a wide array of iconic factions and characters, who’ll traverse familiar settings from Sanctuary Hills to the Red Rocket.

V.A.T.S bonuses will be given to nominated Heroic characters, plus you’ll need to select a leader who’ll gain unique perks.
“Develop your settlements, buildings, defences, and resources,” the synopsis advises, as you opt for either “a narrative mission or straight caps based battle”.
While Fallout: Wasteland Warfare has been available for some time - eight years to be exact - a revised second edition is on the way this year.

An exact release date is not yet available but the revised experience will include two new multi-part plastic sets of Vault Dweller heroes.
“One set will contain four male figures and one set will contain four female figures, with multiple options for different armour and weapons,” a press release confirmed.
In order to make the experience accessible to newcomers, two new starter packs have also been announced.
The Into The Wasteland solo starter set is coming in Q3 of this year, so we’re talking July to September.
That’s designed for those who plan to tackle Wasteland Warfare solo. It includes a rulebook, custom heroes, creature enemies, and “a system for generating thematic regions in their campaigns”.
There’s also the Warbands starter set which’ll land in Q4 of this year. That one features “PVC survivor models, PVC super mutant models, tokens, cardboard scenery, and the main rulebook and reference book”.
Modiphius will also be launching new Encounter Boxes which contain pre-assembled PVC models themed by a regional threat or faction.
These are best suited for “players who just want to get playing and are a more accessible purchase for those just getting into miniatures games”.
There is the Wasteland Compendium too coming in 2027, a hefty rulebook detailing the full extent of what’s possible in Wasteland Warfare.
There’s plenty here to keep gamers busy for an endless number of hours which is handy because Fallout 5 still isn’t on the horizon.
