Fallout 4 is getting new content in the year of our Lord 2025; Bethesda has officially confirmed it for Fallout Day.

Later today, the Fallout Day livestream will begin giving gamers a look at some of the new content on the way to Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic games, but not everyone is excited unfortunately.

More on that later but for now let’s talk about everything that’s been confirmed as part of the showcase.

The big one is Fallout 4. Despite launching all the way back in 2015, the game is clearly still going strong 10 years later as new content is confirmed to be coming to the game as well as changes/additions to its Creation Club.

We don’t know exactly what’s coming just yet but for context the next-gen update for Fallout 4 gave us new weapons, armour and other bits and bobs, so expect a bit more of that.

Hopefully, we get a little bit more than we did last time. Probably not a full expansion but at least a few missions perhaps.

One likely outcome is we get Fallout: New Vegas items added to the game, as the 15th anniversary of Obsidian’s banger Fallout title recently passed and with the second season of the TV series taking us back to the Mojave later this year, it makes sense for Bethesda to honour the game we owe it all too.

We’ll just have to wait and see but thankfully we don’t have long to wait, as the Fallout Day broadcast will go live later today at 1pm ET, 6pm for those in the United Kingdom.

What Else Is Coming?

As expected, we’ve got some new content on the way for Fallout 76, including The Ghoul from the TV series becoming an NPC in the game, with Walton Goggins returning to voice him.

Also announced is some new stuff for Fallout Shelter, the mobile game, as well as some new merch drops and other community-led events.

Unfortunately, there’s been no word on the long-awaited Fallout 3 Remastered, nor anything about Fallout: New Vegas coming back with a fresh coat of paint either, something fans are already incredibly upset about.

You never know though, maybe Bethesda is hiding a few cards up its sleeve to give us a nice surprise during the livestream.

It’s only a matter of hours until we find out for sure, so tune into the Fallout Day broadcast later today.
