A new Fallout 4 expansion created by modders has been endorsed by Bethesda, prompting massive amounts of interest from players.
Although official expansions for Fallout 4 developed by Bethesda Game Studios ended around a decade ago, the game continues to live on through mods created by fans.
Some of these mods end up being good enough that they become endorsed by Bethesda and the Creation Club, which allows them to reach many more players.
The latest one to hit the Creation Club is FEVer Dreams by Kinggath Creations.

The DLC-sized expansion is available for free, and takes players to Camp Jefferson, a pre-war army base that contains a terrible secret.
As you explore the abandoned base, you become poisoned by a mysterious strain of chemicals, with a "questionable" antiviral also being injected into you. The cure lies deeper inside, but a soldier named Pike wants it just as badly as you do, and he's already ahead.
What's particularly notable about FEVer Dreams is that the mod features the return of Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney, who provided the voice of the Sole Survivor in the original Fallout 4 game. Over 1,100 new lines have been recorded by each actor. In addition to them, new robot voices by Wes Johnson and Dave B. Mitchell have also been recorded for the mod.
In addition to this new storyline, FEVer Dreams also features new weapons and armour, namely the compact XC-77 Plasma Caster, the Ditanium Plate Armor, the Officer Suit and Hat, and a collection of named legendary weapons with their own stories.

FEVer Dreams is designed to run flawlessly with all installations of Fallout 4
Overall, the mod is designed to work seamlessly with the base game, DLCs, and many other community mods, so you shouldn't have too much of an issue getting it to run on your PC or console. You can download it now by going to the official Creations page.
And it seems as though fans are loving it.
"THEY BROUGHT BACK THE VOICE ACTORS???? Thatâs so cool!!!" writes one fan on X (formerly Twitter).
"Now THIS is what i've always wanted. More personal story beats surrounding both Nate and Nora. Will check it out as soon as possible," another writes.
Kinggath Creations is a prolific modder within the Bethesda scene, having made mods for Fallout 4, Starfield, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which have all been released on Creation Club.
Most notably, it was the team behind the KALLAX Storageborn mod released earlier this year, which saw the famous IKEA flatpack furniture become a fully fledged companion in Skyrim, voiced by comedian Matt Berry.
In addition to that, the modding team has also released expansions like Sigil of the Fallen and Bards College Expansion for Skyrim, as well as McClarence Outfitters and Watchtower for Starfield. The team's mods are typically very high quality, with professional voice acting and lots of QA to ensure the final result is able to run almost like an official expansion.
