The Modding For Charity team has returned with yet another brilliant free quest for Fallout 4 - and it brings back several of the franchise’s returning cast members.
Double Feature is a brand new quest mod that’s now available for PC users to acquire from NexusMods and despite being a fan creation, this modding effort is definitely a cut above the rest.
The fully-voiced new questline welcomes back Wes Johnson, Jan Johns, and Leer Leary, who you’ll definitely have heard in former Fallout entries.
Johnson voiced Mister Burke, super mutants, sentry bots, and more in Fallout 3, Moe Cronin and the Silver Shroud in Fallout 4, and Protectrons in Fallout 76.

Johns’ credits include Sierra Petrovita, Clover, and Angela Staley in Fallout 3, Scribe Haylen, Ellie Perkins, and Colette Cooke in Fallout 4, as well as Enola Walker and Olivia Rivers in Fallout 76.
Finally, Leary will be more familiar to fans of the Fallout TV series, where he plays Davey, a resident of Vault 33.

The new Double Feature questline doesn’t have a synopsis, but we do know that it introduces a new player home, a new dungeon, custom weapons, new power armour, and a new voiced companion.
It was created by the Modding For Charity team over a single weekend, as they’ve done in the past, all in aid of raising money for, you guessed it, charity.
Specifically, Double Feature is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association, with over $5,000 raised so far, as of the time of writing.
Previous years’ efforts include quest mods Transmission Zeta, Shady Motives, and Trunk’s Malfunction, all of which are worth trying out.
To start the new quest, you need to go to the district of Cambridge near the C.I.T Ruins.
There, you’ll find a damaged Protectron calling out for help, which triggers the start of the quest.
The questline is brand new as of today, July 2, and yet it’s already been viewed thousands of times.
As such, there aren’t too many player testimonies yet, but the hype is certainly there among budding players.
“Every year, these are amazing, so I am excited again,” reads one NexusMods post.
“Can’t wait to play, I have never been disappointed and can't wait to see what shenanigans have been cooked up this year,” added another.
“Looks awesome as always,” one post read.
The mod is completely free to download, with there, as mentioned, being the opportunity to donate to charity via a link on the mod’s listing.
It’s well worth a play, considering that Fallout 5 is a very intangible thing.

Bethesda is hard at work on The Elder Scrolls VI and considering that game hasn’t surfaced in the eight years since it was revealed, full production isn’t going to even begin on Fallout 5 for quite a number of years.
That means it’s far too early to even consider something like a release window. At least we have Prime Video’s TV adaptation though, right folks?
