It seems that the maximum lobby size in GTA VI’s online mode has leaked online, and fans are unsure if they're going to be big enough.

Back in September 2022, ridiculous amount of information about GTA VI flooded the internet after a massive leak containing early gameplay footage and data surfaced. Rockstar Games confirmed the legitimacy of the leak and explained that it’d been obtained illegally by a third party in a network intrusion. Fans have been dissecting all the details they can from it since, and it seems it’s thanks to this leak that the online mode’s lobby size has been uncovered.

Take a look at what GTA VI might look like when it releases with this GTA V Vice City mod.

As Insider Gaming reports, one GTA fan took to Twitter with their alleged findings: “I did some looking into GTA VI leaks to see if I can find anything new and yes I've found first GTA VI Online footage[,] probably not that many people noticed this in the clips,” they wrote, along with a video clip which has since “been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner”.

They then tweeted a screenshot from the video, in which text can be seen that reads “PL: 2/32”. This seems to imply that lobbies in the upcoming online mode will support 32 players.

Now, if this is true, it’s a slight improvement on GTA Online’s current lobby size - right now, only 30 players can roam around Los Santos together. Even so, it’s such a tiny change that not everyone is happy about it.

“32 is way too low [in my opinion]”, one replied. “It should be minimum 64 and max 100 like Warzone,” added another. “Should've been 64 players[,] 32 is too little,” another agreed.

Others have been defending it, however - one suggested that it “could very well just be a placeholder with leftover stuff from GTA V”, while another pointed out that the “game isn't even out yet”.

Even if this data has been correctly pulled from the confirmed leak, things could change significantly between now and the game’s actual release, so don’t get unduly concerned just yet.
