Fallout Season 2 is here and Ella Purnell snuck a Fallout 4 Easter Egg into the show’s second season premiere as she did the media rounds for the hit show.
After many, many years Fallout fans are finally going back to New Vegas, as Lucy, The Ghoul and Maximus face the brutality of the Legion, the manipulations of Mr House and the inner factions of the Brotherhood Of Steel.
It’s going to be an exciting season, with the first episode dropping yesterday (16 December). And not too long ago the cast walked the red carpet for the Season 2 premiere, with its lead Ella Purnell rocking a physical Easter Egg from Fallout 4.
As eagle-eyed fans may have spotted, the hairstyle Purnell went with for the red carpet is one of the hairstyle options found in Fallout 4.
Advert
It’s called Picket Fences and it’s actually linked to one of the game\s lesser-known characters, Kellogg’s mother.
Kellogg is the bounty hunter that steals the protagonist’s son and executes their partner at the beginning of the game, and a large portion of the main story is dedicated to tracking him down for both vengeance and answers.

Once you’ve located and defeated him you can enter his brain and see his memories, which the Vault-Dweller hopes will reveal the location of their son.
During the flashback you’ll see Kellogg’s mother during a scene that shows the formation of the New California Republic, and her hairstyle is very similar to the one Ella Purnell wore for the Season 2 premiere.
Obviously this isn’t teasing any big revelations in the show\s second season, just an impressive bit of attention to detail from the actor and her stylists.
Fallout Season 2 is all about New Vegas several years after the end of the game, and what’s become of the famous wasteland location in the aftermath.
Addressing the Endings of Fallout: New Vegas
As anyone who’s played the game will know Fallout: New Vegas features several endings, all of which change the wasteland in a variety of ways.
They’re faction specific so when so many of the different factions could be spotted in the trailer fans were understandably confused as to what’s going on.
However the showrunners have confirmed that Season 2 will honour the multiple endings found in the game without making them canon, arguing that a lot of time has passed since the events of the game and all factions could have different recollections of what happened in the past.
