The second season of Prime Video’s Fallout TV adaptation is nearly here and it’s safe to say that it looks like it’s going to take everything we loved about the debut and dial it up to 11.
Returning to the bright lights of New Vegas and the Mojave Wasteland for the first time since the release of the 2010 Obsidian Entertainment RPG of the same name, there are a lot of major plot threads that need some kind of satisfying resolution in this upcoming effort from Jonathan Nolan et Al.
That said, there are also bound to be a whole host of new faces along for the ride, given the new location, with speculation quickly turning to who exactly is going to show up, and which characters they might be playing.
Macaulay Culkin was cast in the show last year, though who exactly he’ll be playing is unclear, whilst Kumail Nanjiani is also present this time around as a member of the always formidable Brotherhood of Steel.

Outside of those, rumours have begun to swirl about one of the OG actors from the original game returning in this new medium, and the team behind the show are keen to add fuel to the fire.
Jonathan Nolan Teases Returning Actor

In an interview with AllOutGaming, executive producer and oft-director Jonathan Nolan was asked which actors they would like to see in the show, and his response is sure to set off longtime fans.
“There’s definitely one actor in particular whose voice has been so essential to the franchise that we were incredibly excited to work with,” Nolan said.
The eagle eared amongst you who watched the trailer for Season 2 will likely have noticed the very deep voice that’s briefly heard as (most likely) Ron Perlman, who narrates most of the games, as well as appearing as other characters.
Though it obviously isn’t quite confirmed just yet, Perlman is almost certainly the character that Nolan is referring to, and the super mutant-style voice might be us a fairly solid guess at the type of character he is going to be playing.
The show itself is set to return on 17 December, with an episode releasing once a week until it reaches its inevitable conclusion. To watch it, all you need is an active subscription to Amazon Prime and you should be able to stream it without issue (though with some ads).
