Despite being announced well over a year ago, we’re still no closer to knowing when GTA VI will actually be released. Like seriously, Rockstar Games, what gives?

Rockstar Games announced that it was working on Grand Theft Auto VI back in February 2022, but since that time, we’ve had no further details to chew on. At the time of writing this article, we have no release date, official gameplay trailer, platform or story details. Nothing, nada, zilch!

Check out our GTA VI news round-up video below!

All we’ve had are those infamous gameplay leaks that were allegedly taken from an early build of the game, as well as rumours claiming that GTA VI will take us back to Vice City and will feature two playable protagonists named Jason and Lucia, inspired by historic crime duo, Bonnie and Clyde.

So while the GTA VI hype train continues to roll, despite being starved of any official information, we’ve gotta get that Grand Theft Auto fix wherever we can. Plus, who doesn't love a good TeaserPlay concept trailer, am I right?

The TeaserPlay concept trailer in question gives us a glimpse of what GTA VI may look like running on Unreal Engine 5. The GTA VI concept trailer showcases locations inspired by Vice City, Liberty City and San Andreas powered by glorious ray-tracing, Lumen, Nanite, and Screen Space Reflections. Sadly, this concept will never be playable, otherwise, the Rockstar Games’ lawyers will be on the warpath for TeaserPlay.

In related news, an extinction-level landmass shift might end the world before GTA VI is released, and the next entry in Rockstar Games’ popular series might be the most expensive video game ever.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
