Marvel finally answers MCU mystery that's bugged us since Spider-Man: Homecoming

Please, just let us know!

It seems one of the most burning questions in recent MCU times will be answered very soon (or at least we hope).

After Avengers: Civil War, in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony Stark aka Iron Man revealed that his iconic Avengers Tower had been sold which led to the relocation to the Avengers Compound.

Check out the Captain America: Brave New World trailer below!

It’s fair to say that when it comes to iconic landmarks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, none is perhaps more memorable than the Avengers Tower formerly known as Stark Tower located in Manhattan, New York City.

Understandably, fans have been wondering who had purchased Avengers Tower from Tony Stark, and according to MCU head honcho, Kevin Feige, we may be getting the answer to that question very soon.

When speaking to Comicbook.com, Feige was asked who the buyer is and if we’ll be finding out soon, to which he answered a vague “yes” to each part of the question, and that we’ll find out “soon.”

It remains to be seen whether we’d get the answer to that question in Deadpool & Wolverine which releases in cinemas this week or Captain America: Brave New World which arrives on 14 February 2025.

If I were going to take a guess, seeing as he’s been reintroduced in the Hawkeye series on Disney Plus and most recently seen appearing in Echo, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin as the mysterious buyer.

Sure, we’d assume that Tony Stark wouldn't have willingly sold his beloved property to a criminal overlord, but Fisk could have easily used an alias and purchased it through one of his many offshore accounts. Plus, he’d look extra swanky in the tower if he were to become mayor of New York.

Hopefully, Kevin Feige is true to his word and we’ll get all those answers soon, and when we do, we’ll update you straight away.
