Captain America: Brave New World drops impressive first trailer, the MCU is back

The dawn of a new world is finally here. That's right, Marvel fans, we've got our first look at the official trailer for the new Captain America film.

Ever since Steve Rogers said goodbye to his life as Cap, we've been waiting for the new era of the beloved Marvel superhero to truly arrive.

Finally, it's the time of Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson to step into the star-spangled outfit and lead the way in this "grounded political thriller" which will follow on from Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The Captain America: Brave New World trailer has only just dropped, and already people are whipped up into a frenzy regarding the story and characters that have been teased, specifically Red Hulk.

Fans are lighting up social media, with many describing the trailer as looking "badass".

Another Twitter user commented, "Omgggggggggggg lets goooooo!"

"Well dang, I was not expecting this to be so hype, but it looks solid. Can't wait to see more," posted user Alex VA, "I also am shocked we got a trailer so soon considering it is not coming out till next year and Deadpool & Wolverine isn't even out yet."

This is true; this feels like an early drop considering how soon we're about to see Deadpool back on the big screen, where he belongs.

Yet, we're not mad to see the MCU officially back in action, and in such an exciting way!

After many Marvel fans have felt the magic wane from the MCU, plenty are now feeling the wonderment we first felt return; as one user said, "We are so f**king back."

There are, as always, some naysayers who can't see a future without Steve Rogers, but it's their loss if they miss out on this action-packed adventure. Captain America: Brave New World is bringing its A-game.

The new Captain America film will release next year on Feb 14 2025. It's not as soon as we'd like, but we're already halfway through 2024, so we're sure the time will fly by.
