The Witcher 3 update finally puts a fast travel sign inside Crow's Perch

The Witcher 3's new-gen update has made a change that fans have been begging for for years - a new fast travel point inside Crow's Perch.

Everyone rejoice - The Witcher 3’s new-gen update is finally here. It’s been a long time coming, but the game now looks and runs better than ever on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 - with upgraded frame rates and resolution, as well as ray tracing, it's glorious.

Here at GAMINGbible, our in-house Witcher enjoyer Ewan was full of praise for the update - he said that it’s “staggeringly good, to the point where I genuinely feel like I’ve stolen something from CD Projekt RED”. It’s no wonder that he feels this way when it fixes a problem that everyone’s been dealing with for years.

Take a look at The Witcher 3’s new-gen update in action below.

As TheGamer reports, a fast travel sign has finally been added inside of Crow’s Perch, allowing players to visit the Bloody Baron with ease. As Witcher 3 fans will know all too well, for all this time, players have been stuck travelling to the outside of the town, forcing them to make the journey in every time they decide to swing by. But those days are over.

“THE CASTLE VILLAGE SIGNPOST! THE CASTLE VILLAGE SIGNPOST IS REAL,” Reddit user rardia20 posted, with a screenshot of the new fast travel spot. “Our prayers have been answered, no more spending minutes just to walk, ride, or run up Crow’s Perch… Best news I’ve heard today,” replied SafetyOk5286. “I already had a mod for it but I'm glad it's finally real-real,” added ellie1398.

Just last month, CD Projekt RED responded to a fan on Twitter who requested this exact addition. Twitter user @0veris sent the devs a picture of the map with a huge arrow pointing inside the village, and said: “Please add a sign post here!” The team replied with a GIF of Daffy Duck taking notes, and clearly, they were serious. This might just be the best part of the update.
