The Witcher 3 fans surprised with stunning new release

Earlier this week saw The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fans celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary and to celebrate the momentous occasion, a brand-new release dedicated to the hit RPG has been announced.

It is hard to believe that it has been 10-years since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released.

It feels like just yesterday that we followed in the footsteps of Geralt of Rivia as he searched for Ciri, stopping to play Gwent along the way and fighting monsters and equally monstrous humans alike along the way.

However, it is true.

First released on 18 May 2015, CD Projekt RED recently celebrated The Witcher 3’s impressive milestone and to help with celebrations, Xbox has announced an exciting new collaboration with the hit game.

Available as a Microsoft Store exclusive item, The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition Wireless Controller has been announced and is available for pre-order now.

Launching in both a Standard and Elite edition, the Standard controller features textured triggers and bumpers, a hybrid D-pad, button mapping and Bluetooth technology as well as its design being inspired by Geralt’s steel and silver swords.

Additionally, the Elite edition features adjustable-tension thumbsticks, shorter hair trigger locks, wrap-around rubberised grip, and interchangeable components.

The Standard controller is available at $79.99 and the Elite is $169.99.

“Celebrate 10 years of killing monsters alongside the White Wolf and reconnect with the critically acclaimed dark fantasy story beloved by millions as you prepare for the start of a new saga,” the product description reads.

So if you are an Xbox gamer and want to celebrate one of the best RPGs of the decade, hurry whilst stocks last.

Not only that but this will also make the perfect accompaniment to The Witcher 4 which is currently in development and will see Ciri take on the mantle as The Witcher as she follows in Geralt’s bloody footsteps.
