Steam gamers warned they've last chance to dive into massive 50+ free download event

By the time you read this, it may already be too late

There are currently dozens of freebies up for grabs on Steam as we speak, but, by the time you read this, you likely have mere hours left before some of them disappear for good.

So, let’s skip the preamble and get right to it– just in case.

Right, let’s speedrun the important info and the missable stuff: The Steam Automation Fest is here, and it ends on July 21 at 10am Pacific Time (6pm GMT).

Now, in terms of missable stuff, there are a few things you should grab as soon as possible.

First up, head on over to The Steam Points Shop. You can currently nab three items for your profile, at no cost, including: the Pick and Place animated avatar, the Parcel Pass animated sticker, and the Conveyor Carry avatar frame.

Once the event is done, so are these. As in, they will literally never return once the event is over, even for a price.

The other most important, missable stuff is all of the discounts. There are quite a few bangers that are currently cheap as chips, so have a browse on your own just in case.

However, if you want recommendations on what to buy, here’s what I think you should get.

The Signal State, by developer Reckoner Industries and publishers The Iterative Collective and indienova, is currently 65% off (Very Positive review score, with 86% of reviewers giving it a positive review).

shapez, from developer Tobias Springer and publisher Doyoyo Games, is currently 80% off (Overwhelmingly Positive review score, with 96% of reviews being positive).

The Last Clockwinder, from developer Pontoco and publisher Cyan Ventures, is currently 70% off (Overwhelmingly Positive review score, with 96% of reviews being positive).

Those are just the ones I think are worth trying, based on the size of the discounts alone, so make sure you have a look yourself, just in case!
