The brand new Steam free game is taking aim at users’ hearts, and it’s clearly scored a direct hit.
That One Otter Game is a local co-op adventure game on Steam from first-time developers Crayon Coded and publisher ARTFX - GAME, and you can download it right now for the low, low price of free.
If you aren’t familiar with ARTFX, they’re actually a digital arts school in France. That means that Crayon Coded is actually a graduate team of developers, which explains why a game as adorable as this is being given away for free.
So, what do you actually do in the That One Otter Game? You solve silly little co-op puzzles as a pair of mischievous otters, of course.

Apparently it’s quite fun, too– well, at least according to the Steam reviewers anyway.
“A free co-op game in this day and age? Oh yes, this is the good stuff!” writes Steam reviewer RedLack.
“Fun, cute and chaotic, exactly what I needed!”
“This game has its kinks n grooves but overall it is extremely promising,” commented Steam reviewer Salad.

“It was very cute and a brilliant laugh and the small team of graduates behind it are passionate and kind, they have a future of good games, I'm sure of it.”
The game is currently sitting at a Mostly Positive score on Steam, with 77% of the 59 reviews being positive.
However, if you ask me, it should actually be a lot higher than that, because I spotted a couple of negative reviews from people who disliked it merely because it’s a local co-op game.
Firstly, Parsec exists if you do want to play this online. Secondly, seriously, dude? The game is free, and you’re moaning about the fact that the devs haven’t paid for online servers?
