It’s that time of week again, folks. There are four new free games available on Steam to grab.

If you’re checking out the front page of Steam pretty frequently, you might be privy to the large selection of free games that are always going up.

Free games can be fun if you’re a gamer on a tight budget, and maybe you just want something quick and free to take up your afternoons. Luckily, there are a few new ones available to check out this week.

The four new games available on Steam this week are as follows:

  • Bobcos, a 2D multiplayer sandbox game where you build a world, customise your avatar, and chat to other players.
  • Brainrot Battle Royale, a multiplayer game where you fight to the death in a cartoony rendition of Ohio. Okay then.
  • Culinary Wizard, an action platformer where you must learn the secrets of the culinary arts. You bring ingredients to life, slay enemies using kitchen tools, and become the ultimate food wizard.
  • Springuins, a game where you take control of two penguins using the same input who must collect cherry blossoms and be reunited across several challenging levels.

Of these games, Springuins looks particularly cute. And it has a decent premise too, as your button presses will cause both penguins to make the same movement, so you’ll need to plan ahead and strategise your every movement.

On the other hand, Culinary Wizard also has a great art style, and should appeal to those who are fans of retro gaming in particular.

As for Bobcos, it’s got the vibes of those classic online browser games like Runescape or original Minecraft, where you could just go online and be silly with a bunch of other players.

Be sure to check these games out if any of them sound interesting to you. You'll just need a free Steam account and a compatible PC to run them on.
